You Matter to God - We all matter to God. It doesn’t matter who you are. Christ’s sacrifice and salvation is offered to ‘whosoever’ accepts Him – it is an offer presented to you, me and everyone. Jesus died for your sins. You should know this, for the Bible is full of the wonderful word “whosoever.” If Jesus so loved the world that he died, are you in the world or do you live somewhere else? If you live in the world, he died for you. God so loved you that he gave his Son for you. When Christ suffered on the Cross, he suffered for you, just as though it was only for you. It is the one lost sheep the shepherd goes after. The one is significant. No matter who you are, you matter to God

I wonder what the mothers thought. 

God is not like that.

Do you remember what Christ said through the angel to the women at his tomb? 

“Go tell his disciples and Peter.” - (Mark 16:7, NIV).

He remembered Peter.

Everyone around you is continuously bombarded with a million and one reasons why they couldn’t possibly matter to God. 

I invite you to tell someone today how much they matter to God.

By doing that, you’ll bless yourself also, because what better way of reminding yourself just how significant you are to God!

No Matter What You’ve Done, God Will Take You Back - it doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done. God still wants you to come back to him. God the Father created you, Jesus the Son died for you, and God’s Spirit wants to live in you. Here’s what the Bible says God will do when you come back to him: “With deep love I will take you back.” God isn’t mad at you. God is mad about you. No one will ever love you more than the Creator who made you. You may have come to the end of yourself and feel like you don’t have anywhere to turn. But there is always Someone to turn to. With deep love, God will take you back. Christmas is proof of God’s love for you

Streams in my desert: God Cares for You - God is a good God. He cares for you. God isn't waiting to hurl lightning bolts at you whenever you make a mistake. Instead, God tells us to cast all our cares upon Him, because He cares for us. God is full of blessing, mercy, abundance, strength, healing, victory and security. He sent His Son to die so we might have eternal life with Him. Satan is the one that wants to harm you. The cross stands as your memorial that God wants to make peace with you. He wants to save you. Remember that Satan is the cause of pain on this Earth; not God. God wants you to prosper and live in abundance. Whenever you are faced with opposition, remember that God is always on your side

Streams in my desert: The Creator of All Cares about You - the world is an uncertain place where change takes place on a daily, moment by moment, basis. It’s not easy to go through the experience, but with Christ you can take this opportunity to grow and get closer to Him. God, our Father, never changes and He cares for each one of us and our everyday life. He will never leave you nor forsake you. The Creator of all is in control of your life. He is powerful enough to create the heavens and the earth. Don’t give up. With His help you can overcome and have the victory on this situation

Streams in my desert: The Godly is Never Forsaken - amidst the turbulent waves of life, God promises to provide and care for the righteous. As we wait for the Lord to deliver us from trouble, we should continue to commit our ways to Him - we can hold fast to the fact that God will never forsake us. We will encounter instances when God’s providential care is evident, and we will have a testimony of our own. However, we must remember that our understanding is limited, and we cannot always fathom the ways that God works. Believers are therefore encouraged to hold on to God’s unchanging hand and trust that He will work all things for good

Streams in my desert: Christ Ransomed Us - the idea that Satan holds us for ransom is a common belief that Scripture never teaches. It’s absolutely correct that a price was paid by Jesus for people’s freedom. It is God’s own righteous demand of holiness that must be paid in full, not Satan’s hateful demand as a malicious kidnapper. The fact that God lovingly paid and fulfilled His own righteous demand makes Him the grace-filled rescuer, and Satan has nothing to do with it. If Satan didn’t exist and humans were still sinners, Jesus would still have had to die to redeem us, making us right with God

Streams in my desert: We Are Always Being Examined by God, the Audience of One - there’s no such thing as a private moment. God sees all so we never get away with anything. He sees all so that whatever we do for Him, He will never forget, and He will happily say to us: “Well done.” We will stand before His judgment seat, no one else’s. Let’s live our lives not for the praise of men, but for the applause of God, the Audience of One. If we live that way, we will not look back at our lives with regret, but with hearts of gratitude to our King

Without the Holy Spirit, we simply aren’t able to keep ourselves in the knowledge and assurance of God’s love for us. We need God’s Spirit to empower us in all things. When everything seems to conspire against God’s promises being fulfilled, the Holy Spirit rises up in us with true words of comfort
