Who is Your Daddy? - modern scientific advances make it possible to trace family lineage through DNA testing. God sees your ancestry all the way back to the beginning. Perhaps even more comforting is that He knows each person’s future

Ancestry study is a popular hobby.

Some libraries have entire sections for genealogical research.

Even a few television programs are dedicated to this pursuit.

Modern scientific advances make it possible to trace family lineage through DNA testing.

Haplotypes can help identify which people groups an individual is descended from as well as tracing each group to its continent of origin.

A popular TV show used this testing to identify the family roots of two individuals who represented opposing religions.

The host startled his Muslim guest when he shared the DNA evidence that showed the two warring people groups were descended from the same father.

The sons of Abraham were Isaac and Ishmael (1 Chronicles 1:28).

Isn’t it wonderful to know that God already has all that information?

God sees your ancestry all the way back to the beginning.

Perhaps even more comforting is that He knows each person’s future.

Prayer Suggestion: Thank You, Lord.

Nothing surprises You.

You Have A Destiny - so many great men and women of the Bible had to trust the process of God getting them ready for their destiny. You have a great Destiny. God will reveal it to you as you trust the One leading you

Born to Worship - we are easily misled into worshiping men who were created rather than our Creator, God Almighty. We must guard against worshiping men or allowing people to worship us. Ask God to show you if there’s anything in your life that you are worshiping

Ancestor Worship - honoring the memory of our forbearers is okay, but worshipping our ancestors or thinking that they can be some sort of mediator between us and God or some sort of god to us is clearly not biblical
