We gazed upon His glory - He pitched his tent among us - it was good tidings of great joy which the angel proclaimed to the shepherds — and to all people everywhere. Man, separated from God for four thousand years, could now gaze upon God’s glory, could now see God, could now know God as He is, and could now be reunited with Him. The Word has become flesh. Praise God for sending GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY. Praise God for sending a SAVIOR. Praise God for CHRIST THE LORD. Praise God for allowing us to gaze upon HIS GLORY

His Glory

"And the Word became flesh.

"And pitched his tent among us, And we gazed upon his glory, -

"A glory . . . Full of favour and truth." - John 1:14 (Rotherham)

I love Rotherham’s translation of John 1:14 - it is so beautiful.

We’ve tended to think of Christ’s coming to the earth as a man only in terms of His self-denial in leaving glory, or else in terms of His suffering on this earth.

But I believe it was a joy to Christ, who so loved man and so desired man’s fellowship, to “pitch His tent” among us so that He might give to alienated man — who had never known his Creator— a true conception of His Heavenly Father.

It was good tidings of great joy which the angel proclaimed to the shepherds — and to all people everywhere.

Man, separated from God for four thousand years, could now gaze upon God’s glory, could now see God, could now know God as He is, and could now be reunited with Him!

"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." — Luke 2:10,11

The Word has become flesh!

Confession

Like the multitude of the heavenly host, I, too, am praising God.

Praise God for sending GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY!

Praise God for sending a SAVIOR!

Praise God for CHRIST THE LORD!

Praise God for allowing us to gaze upon HIS GLORY!

Please, Show Me Your Glory - it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord

Age of Glory - The Times We Live - there has never been a better time to be alive on Earth. Truth is becoming more important to people as darkness is exposed - darkness can only survive and function through deception. Despite the desperation of the darkness, it is losing. Darkness is being exposed by the light, and many are turning from darkness to the true light of Jesus Christ. There is more prosperity, opportunity, and good happening now than at any time in history. This is because God is blessing His people, and His people are a blessing to the world

Streams in my desert: Christ the Lord - as the shepherds approached baby Jesus, they could witness how He was fulfilling prophecy. He was the Christ, “wrapped in the swaddling garments.” He was “born to redeem” and save. The angels focused on giving glory to God. They also signaled His desire that all people could experience peace and goodwill and a time when wars no longer would be necessary. Jesus had come to fulfill prophecy as the Prince of Peace. This Christmas, remember to focus on God

Streams in my desert: The Shekinah Glory - God’s goal is to “reside”, to be a permanent resident, with His people. He can “reside" in your heart, mind, and lifestyle if you want Him to. All we have to do is ask for it and be willing to let His Shekinah glory be the controlling element of your life. The word “Shekinah” was adopted by Christians as a way of describing God’s presence with His people. “Shekinah glory” is a symbol referring to that divine presence. Christ ascended to heaven in the glory cloud

Streams in my desert: Let Your Life Begin Again - a new life is only a prayer away. Today is the day of salvation. When you’ve been born again and made a new creature in Christ you don’t have any past. Your life begins again the day you make Jesus Lord of your life. Then when Satan comes around trying to remind you of what a worm you were before, just tell him he’s knocking on the wrong door. There’s no need to wait any longer. The prison door is open. Walk through to Jesus and let your life begin again today
