God Of The Hour - God works in unusual ways. He is God - omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. You might have waited all through the day without a trace of hope. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Even if that situation is already dead, it will come back to life like Lazarus when the Lord shows up. Keep your eyes fixed and looking on the Lord. He might choose to show up at the 11th hour. Trust in the Lord, and He will show up because He is the God of the hour

"And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between twosoldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison"(Acts 12:6, KJV)

Peter was arrested by Herod and kept in prison, awaiting execution after Easter.

However, the night before the execution, an angel showed up in prison and freed Peter.

I want you to think of the thought process of Peter while he was in jail, looking up to heaven as his D-day for execution by the malicious Herod was approaching.

God waited the night before the D-day and rescued him just in time.

He is the God of the hour.

The miracle was so timely and remarkable that Peter himself said he thought it was a  vision or dream while it was happening.

He said “And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.” - (Acts 12:9, KJV)

I cannot tell you why the Lord waited for the last minute.

What we know is that He showed up in time.

He certainly works in unusual ways.

Sometimes we unconsciously think our God is like us who could be taken by surprise, confused or not having enough strength to bring any situation under His control.

He is God — omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent!

You might have waited all through the day without a trace of hope. However, He might choose to show up at the 11th hour.

Lazarus’ case was so bad that he could not wait for Jesus to come.

He died!

When Jesus finally showed up after 4 days, He brought  Lazarus back to life!

He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Even if that situation is already dead, it will come back to life like Lazarus when the Lord shows up.

Keep your eyes fixed and looking on the Lord.

MEDITATE

Is there a situation in your life that is making you say “it is already too late?”

Has the Lord said anything yet?

APPLY THE WORD

Faith is crucial in times of adversity.

The battle is 90% won if your faith remains unshakable when you go through a difficult season.

The moment your faith and trust in God are punctured, the battle is 90% lost.

Stand your ground.

Defend your territory with the shield of faith.

Trust in the Lord, and He will show up because He is the God of the hour!

PRAY

Thank the Lord for His faithfulness in your life.

When God Sends You Back To That Place Of Failure - a major test of our faith and obedience will be obeying God in an area we experienced failure before. God will sometimes send us back to that place where we did not get the results we expected. It may be that marriage, ministry, job, family task or relationship with that family member or friend. You tried it before on your own and failed. However, with a Word from God, things will be different

Be freed from a vision of freedom - there are many believers who know they SHOULD be free in Yeshua (Jesus). They have a head knowledge of freedom – but somehow they haven't grasped the reality of the freedom that is promised. They walk with the vision without living the reality. Don't be stuck in a vision of freedom – live in the reality of freedom. Claim it and live it today. Take the promises of God and say, "If the Son has made me free, then I'm free indeed."

Your Bible is a Gold Mine - the Bible is the divine mine that contains the theological mother load. God loves to lace and layer revelatory riches in what at first seems like a fairly straightforward historical narrative. The wonderful thing about this mine is that we often find treasure in unexpected places. The Bible contains over 31,000 verses — so much gold and so little time. We will never exhaust the gold it contains during our brief lives, but we must discover all we can
