Be Drenched in Shalom - the Hebrew definitions of shalom and salvation are very similar. The word for salvation in Hebrew is yeshua, which is also the Hebrew name for Jesus. Yeshua is defined as salvation, healing, deliverance, help, aid, victory, prosperity, security and well-being. Of course, it's no coincidence that the definition of our Savior's name contains components of both words: salvation and peace. Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."John 14:27

The Hebrew word for peace is shalom and means not only lack of conflict, but also wholeness and completeness, with nothing broken, nothing missing, and nothing lacking.

It also means safety, prosperity and health.

Be drenched now in His shalom.

Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus Christ, Yahweh Yeshua Messiah, thank You for Your peace, Your prosperity, Your safety, Your shalom.

The Meaning of Shalom in the Bible - when Jesus meets his disciples after the resurrection, he continually says to them, “Peace.” Jesus reconciles us to God. He does so by taking on himself the curse of sin so that all who are united to him by faith receive his blessing of peace. God the Father treats Jesus as the wicked deserve to be treated and experiences unimaginable inner agony - infinite pain so that we can know endless peace. Jesus is the Prince of shalom who will bring in God’s kingdom of peace

Run after it - Shalom has a much richer meaning than simply the word peace. It can also mean completeness, prosperity, safety, contentment, health, blessing and rest. In Hebrew to "chase after shalom" - is to run after God's shalom. One can only find God's shalom through our "Sar Shalom" – our Prince of Peace. Let's strive to reach a new level of intimacy with our Lord and experience new levels of peace, contentment, blessing and rest

Rest in His Sacrifice - headlines are dominated by news of ongoing conflicts. Given these turbulent times, finding peace seems nearly impossible. Nevertheless, the Lord who is called Sar Shalom, who dwells within us, is our PEACE ... He is our Prince of Peace. The reality of our identity, our completeness in Yeshua Jesus, is a real foundation for resting in His peace in the midst of real threats and serious turmoil, that passes all understanding
