Make His Word the Last Word - Jesus is the beginning. So, no matter what challenge or situation you may be facing right now, you need to start with Him. Jesus is the Word. If you start with Jesus, you start with the Word. Don’t do anything until you find out what the Word has to say about it. Then, stay on the Word. Continue in the faith. Do not let go of the Word, no matter what may happen. Settle it with God in prayer and stay with it forever. It is written. Then end with the Word. Jesus said He was the first and the last. The Word of Jesus is the last Word. Now shout the victory. You don’t have to wait to see the outcome to celebrate. You have Jesus’ Word on the matter. Your breakthrough is coming

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” - (Revelation 1:8).

Jesus is the beginning and the ending.

He is the Almighty.

When He told us that in the book of Revelation, He wasn’t just giving us a general piece of information about Himself.

He was giving us a powerful truth we can apply now, today!

Let me show you how.

He said He is the beginning.

So, no matter what challenge or situation you may be facing right now, you need to start with Him.

John 1:1 says Jesus is the Word.

That means, if you’re going to start with Jesus, you’re going to start with the Word.

Don’t do anything until you find out what the Word has to say about it.

Then, stay on the Word.

As Colossians 1:23 says, “Continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard.”

Continue in the faith.

The only way the devil can defeat you is to pressure you into throwing away the Word.

Everything he does, every challenge he brings you is intended to make you doubt the Word of God.

So don’t let go of the Word, no matter what may happen.

Settle it with God in prayer and stay with it forever.

It is written!

Then end with the Word.

Jesus said He was the first and the last.

That means the word of your doctor is not the last word.

Even the word of your pastor is not the last word.

The Word of Jesus is the last Word!

Remember this: you are now what the Word says you are.

You can do what the Word says you can do.

And you can have what the Word says you can have. Begin to believe that.

Begin to say it out loud in faith.

Now shout the victory.

Yes, now!

You don’t have to wait to see the outcome to celebrate.

You have Jesus’ Word on the matter, so you know beyond any doubt that your breakthrough is coming.

Once you’ve settled yourself on Him, you can be assured that He will have the last word!

The Word of God Is the Sword - we might think of logos as the Bible and rhema as a verse in the Bible. Both are the Word of God — one the whole, the other a specific part of the whole. Think of how Jesus defended Himself against Satan’s temptations in the wilderness. Three times Satan tempted Him, and three times Jesus rebuffed the temptation by quoting a verse from Deuteronomy. That’s the way to use the sword of the Spirit, the rhema of God. Take the sword of the Spirit everywhere you go by committing the promises and teachings of Scripture to memory. The Bible is a disturbing book, a hammer, a fire, and a sword

The Rhema Word - Rhema refers to spoken words or a saying. It is often translated as "word," same as Logos. Many Christians use the rhema word as a way to express God speaking to them. A person may claim to have heard the "rhema word of God" when he feels God has led him to do something in service to Him. Rhema as used in the Greek language could be used of any saying by any person. It was not limited to Jesus or to an inward spiritual message. If a person claims to have a "rhema word" from God, the right step is to verify if this is true is to compare this claim with the teachings of Scripture

Streams in my desert: Hiding God's Word in our hearts - the heart is often regarded as the seat of one's emotions, desires, and deepest thoughts. Hiding God's Word one's heart suggests the act of treasuring or storing something of great value and significance. It can be seen as a form of spiritual nourishment and sustenance. Just as physical food sustains and strengthens the body, the Word of God sustains and nourishes the soul. By treasuring and internalizing the Word of God, the believer finds spiritual nourishment, strength, and vitality, enabling him to withstand the temptations and challenges of life, guarding against sin and living in obedience to God     wip

Streams in my desert: Receive Your Miracle - when you made Jesus the Lord of your life, you believed, confessed, and received the greatest miracle in the universe – the miracle of a reborn spirit. Every other miracle you receive will come in exactly the same way. You start by simply believing what God’s Word says concerning your area of need, by letting that Word change your heart and mind. It’s what we believe in our heart and say with our mouth that we receive. God’s power is always present everywhere

Streams in my desert: The Word of God is Living and Active - God's Word can distinguish between the godly and ungodly. The razor-sharp truth of the Word of God will separate what is truly spiritual from what is faithless. Christians should strive to complete the work given them by God in order to obtain heavenly rewards. The most potent tool we have in this effort is the razor-sharp Word of God. We should make every effort to obtain our inheritance in Christ, which is something separate from our eternal salvation

Streams in my desert: God’s Word Cannot Fail - no matter how any person might respond, God's Word always is true. People may fail us and even our closest friends may break their promises. But God’s Word is sure and settled forever in Heaven. You can depend upon Him and His Word. Declare His promises to be true in your life. Today, make sure that you place your hope and faith in God’s Word. Teach His Word to your family. Meditate on it. Memorize it. Put it into practice

Streams in my desert: God's Word will not return to Him void - every promise God made to His people and every word that is written in Scripture is true and will certainly come to pass at His appointed time, and in His appointed way. Those who heed His Word will discover that all His promises are Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus. All who listen to His voice will be blessed beyond imagination. God has placed His Word above His holy name and ALL that is written in Scripture WILL be fulfilled

Streams in my desert: How to Receive a Rhema Word Today - behind every scripture of the Bible is the voice of God. This is very important to understand. The Holy Spirit makes us hear God’s voice in the scriptures as it applies to us in specific circumstances. This is the Rhema Word. We can also hear the voice of the Spirit directly and audibly. The Bible is God’s Word. It has Rhema in it for you every day. Learn to stay with the written word and allow the Spirit speak into your spirit man as He teaches you the Word today from the scriptures.

Streams in my desert: Come Boldly to the Throne of Grace - whenever we approach the Lord in prayer, we need never fear that we are too frank, too bold, too forthright, too honest, too outspoken, or even too blunt when we bare our hearts to Him or request His help. Even if we are wrong, it will not bother God when we’re honest with Him. We should never be irreverent, but neither do we need to be ashamed to speak exactly what is on our hearts. When you go to the Lord, He wants to hear exactly what you have to say

Streams in my desert: Jesus Speaks - how awesome to have the voice of an angel speak words of hope or of direction in a time of need. How overwhelming to see the words of God written on tablets of stone. Every single one of these words are the very words of God, inspired and infallible. Yet God has spoken something new and better. Jesus has become the ultimate heavenly spokesman. There is a greater and better way of God speaking to us, from the man Christ Jesus — fully God and yet human. The Son of God came to us, spoke to us, and still speaks to us
