Fearless Flying - true faith is based on a relationship with God that relies on His proven character. This kind of faith can carry us to any destination He desires

“Uncle Ron.” Young Ian came bounding into the house.

“How did you land your plane in this weather?”

“Since I couldn’t see the nose of the plane when I landed, I relied on the navigational system.”

That navigational system served as an electronic guide.

“Since you have never traveled this way before, they will guide you” (Joshua 3:4).

Pilots understand the importance of good navigational instruments.

In visually limiting conditions, the life of every person on the plane depends on the reliability of those devices.

Pilots have good reason to trust in their equipment.

Experience.

The same is true with God.

With confidence, Joshua and the people followed God into a land they had never seen before.

Many talk about “blind faith,” but faith for a follower of Jesus is not blind, even though a situation might temporarily be blinding.

True faith is based on a relationship with God that relies on His proven character.

This kind of faith can carry us to any destination He desires.

Prayer Suggestion: Lord, help me to have faith in Your proven character.
