Love: The Fruit of the Spirit - in the Biblical sense, love is not merely a warm human emotion, but a choice of the will. This kind of love is a selfless love that always seeks the highest and best for another. It is an unconditional love that gives freely without asking anything in return. God's love for us is the ultimate example of pure, selfless love-never-ending and all-encompassing. God's love for us is so great that He chose to send His son Jesus to die on the cross of Calvary to redeem us! In submission to God, Jesus chose to bear our sins and die on the cross to redeem us and restore us to God's favor

"Love is patient, love is kind. 

"It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

"It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 

"Love ... always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.

"Love never fails." - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is a familiar word in our culture, and to most of us, love is a powerful emotion that transcends all others. 

Everyone thinks they know what it is but in the Biblical sense, love is not merely a warm human emotion, but a choice of the will. 

This kind of love is a selfless love that always seeks the highest and best for another. 

It is an unconditional love that gives freely without asking anything in return.

God's love for us is the ultimate example of pure, selfless love-never-ending and all-encompassing.

Oh, that we could possibly emulate the love that God has for us! 

Romans 5:8 says, 

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

As Christ has shown us, biblical love is not what we feel but what we do.

Lord Jesus, Please give me more of your love so that, I may love others like you do. 

Help me esteem others better than myself. 

Let me selfless and love beyond my feelings. 

I have chosen today to love everyone regardless of my feelings. 

Help me demonstrate you love,
