Enter Your Promised Land Through Faith - the Israelites had been out in the desert, getting their water from a rock and living on manna from heaven. They didn't go in; they stayed back in the desert. Some folks are satisfied to stay out in the "desert." They could enjoy an abundance of blessings, but they're satisfied where they are. God doesn't force anything on anyone - the choice is ours. The Israelites "could not enter in because of unbelief." What determines whether we move into the abundance of our promised land or barely get along out in the desert is the extent to which we believe God

"And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain: and see the land, what it is …" - (Numbers 13:17-18).

God told the Israelites that the land He had given them was a land flowing with milk and honey, so the twelve spies went in and checked it out for forty days.

When they returned, they brought back one cluster of grapes that took two of them to carry.

Those were pretty good grapes!

The Israelites had been out in the desert, getting their water from a rock and living on manna from heaven that sustained them but didn't have much taste.

Now God said they were ready to move in and possess the Promised Land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

However, Israel didn't go in; they stayed back in the desert.

You'll find that in the church world today.

Some folks are satisfied to stay out in the "desert," getting a little water out of a rock and bit of manna from heaven each morning.

They could move over into the promised land and enjoy an abundance of blessings, but they're satisfied where they are.

"Don't push healing on me," they say.

"I'm not interested. I'm happy as I am."

You see, the choice is ours. God doesn't force anything on anyone.

I don't know about you, but I have a burning desire on the inside to move over into my promised land — into the best God has for me.

The Bible says the Israelites "could not enter in because of unbelief" - (Hebrews 3:19).

The same is true for us.

What determines whether we move into the abundance of our promised land or barely get along out in the desert is the extent to which we believe God.

No wonder God says, "Without faith, you can't please Me!"

Confession:

I want God's best in my life.

Healing is part of the abundant life He provided through Jesus.

I enter my promised land by faith in His Word.

I believe I'm strong, healed and able to possess my inheritance!

He Provides Manna One Day at a Time - Spiritual maturity is often confused with independence. It’s the exact opposite. The goal is codependence on God. God didn’t design us to “grow up” and be independent from him. Our desire for self-sufficiency is a subtle expression of our sinful nature. It’s a desire to get to a place where we don’t need God, don’t need faith, don’t need a local church home, and don’t need to pray. We want God to provide more so we need him less. That’s just not the way it’s supposed to work

Walking in the Wilderness - there are times when we go astray, and God must bring us back - but there are other times when He desires to grow us up and strengthen our faith. If you find yourself walking through a wilderness season, take heart. God is using the deeply worn pathways to teach you and take you somewhere good. We often recall only the joy or only the pain, but God wants us to hold them all together. For in the wilderness — the hot, arid place where only God can meet our needs — he humbles, tests, refines, and proves

Faith Is God’s Word Activated - most of us aren’t confident or courageous. We’re often scared to death. We’re afraid to take risks, afraid of failure, and afraid of dying. But people of faith should walk confidently through life. Faith is God’s Word activated. The Bible says “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” God’s Word not only tells you what to do. It also gives you the power to do it and increases your faith as you do it. God promises thousands of times in the Bible that he will act on our behalf if we obey him
