Eternity - the feeling of incompleteness reminds believers that they have not arrived at their permanent home. God created a perfect world with perfectly healthy humans. When sin entered the world, so did death. The feeling of incompleteness reminds believers that they have not arrived at their permanent home. Eternity calls to the human heart, so Christians long for the time they will be with God and all God’s promises will be fulfilled. The beauty of this world only hints at the perfect beauty of heaven. After Jesus returns, there will be a new heaven and a new earth and the longing of believers will be fulfilled

Many believers feel a longing in their hearts for something they cannot pinpoint.

With the Holy Spirit dwelling in a believer’s heart, why does the longing remain?

"God has made everything beautiful for its own time.

"He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end" - (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Eternity calls to the human heart, so Christians long for the time they will be with God and all God’s promises will be fulfilled.

God created a perfect world with perfectly healthy humans.

When sin entered the world, so did death.

Human bodies now fall prey to sickness and death.

Decaying forests and crumbling buildings are signs that the original creation is fading.

The feeling of incompleteness reminds believers that they have not arrived at their permanent home.

After Jesus returns, there will be a new heaven and a new earth and the longing of believers will be fulfilled.

Thought for Today

The beauty of this world only hints at the perfect beauty of heaven.

Quicklook: Ecclesiastes 3:9–15

READ ECCLESIASTES 3:1 THROUGH 5:20

The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Living on the Edge of Eternity - the Book of Revelation is the unveiling of Jesus Christ - we will see Him in a different way than we’ve seen Him before. Through this book, we can understand the mystery of history and make sense out of suffering. It deals with the past, present, and future. The future includes the Rapture of the saints and the tribulation of this world. It prophesies the Battle of Armageddon, the beast, the millennium, and the glorification of the Savior. We are surely living in the Last Days. At the end of this book, we’re offered the last invitation of the whole Bible: “Come.” May we come to Jesus before it’s too late. Keep your eyes on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

After Death What - man's final destination is based entirely on whether he belongs by faith to Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly describes what happens after death and the two possible eternal destinations everyone faces. For believers, death is to be "away from the body and at home with the Lord." Those for whom Christ died will spend eternity with Him in heaven. For those who do not receive Jesus Christ as Savior, death means everlasting punishment in hell. If you have not put your faith in Jesus Christ, don't delay. "Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation"

The Sin That Leads to Death - we are called to salvation today, not tomorrow. Repent and put your trust in Jesus Christ. If you refuse then you surely will face God’s judgment after death or at Jesus Christ’s appearance whichever comes first in your life
