Consulting Others - the Lord desires for people to come to Him with their burdens and questions. It is because of His love for people that God wants them to come to Him first - the Lord will direct their paths and help them see His desire in every circumstance

How often do situations arise that leave people wondering what to do? 

King Ahaziah was injured and wondered if he would live. 

He sent his messengers to ask a false god. 

Elijah, who had been sent by an angel of the Lord, met the king’s messengers.

He had a question for this idol worshipping king.

“‘Is there no God in Israel? Why are you going to Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether the king will recover?’” - (2 Kings 1:3).

The Lord desires for people to come to Him with their burdens and questions. 

When people find themselves at a crossroads in life, the first thing they should do is look up and ask God to lead them. 

It is because of His love for people that God wants them to come to Him first. 

When people honor God, they can be confident the Lord will direct their paths and help them see His desire in every circumstance. 

Prayer Suggestion: God, please help me to always look to You for guidance. Help me to hear and understand Your response.
