Leading and Following - imagine what God could accomplish through followers who are committed heart and soul to His cause. Jonathan had taken time to share his vision and express his faith in God’s power, so when it was go-time for the mission, his armor-bearer was all in. He listened, walked beside Jonathan, followed him up the cliff, and fought the Philistines with him. They made a great team because they knew that, at times, someone has to lead, and someone has to follow. Consider whom you follow

The views within Makoshika State Park in Montana are spectacular, but many can only be accessed via narrow trails.

Sooner or later, groups of hikers find themselves being realigned from trios and pairs walking shoulder to shoulder to a line of individuals walking single file along the trail.

This realignment may require some communication within the group.

Often, at this point, a leader emerges.

“Do what you think is best,” the armor bearer replied.

“I’m with you completely, whatever you decide” (1 Samuel 14:7).

Challenge for Today: Consider whom you follow.
