Stand on the Rock - when your storm rages overhead, may you know - with everything in you - that new mercies are on the other side. And when you're tempted to overstate your problems and understate His promises, may you step back and find your footing again. When your journey is different than you would choose, may you see His invitation to make you new. When you can't sense what God is up to, may you trust, even more, His heart towards you. On Christ the solid Rock you stand, all other ground is sinking sand. He is mighty to save, and He is doing a new and beautiful thing in you - trust Him with all your heart. Embrace joy and strength today

"The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving." Psalm 28:7

When you can't sense what God is up to, may you trust, even more, His heart towards you.

When your journey is different than you would choose, may you see His invitation to make you new.

When your storm rages overhead, may you know - with everything in you -- that new mercies are on the other side.

And when you're tempted to overstate your problems and understate His promises, may you step back and find your footing again.

On Christ the solid Rock you stand, all other ground is sinking sand.

He is mighty to save, and He is doing a new and beautiful thing in you!

Embrace joy and strength today!

On Christ The Solid Rock I Stand - Michael W. Smith

lyrics

My hope is built on nothing less

Than Jesus' blood and righteousness

I dare not trust the sweetest frame

But wholly lean on Jesus' name

On Christ the solid rock I stand

All other ground is sinking sand

All other ground is sinking sand

When darkness

When darkness veils His lovely face

I'll rest on His unchanging grace

In every high and stormy day

My anchor holds within the veil

On Christ the solid rock I stand

All other ground is sinking sand

All other ground is sinking sand

And His oath

His oath, His covenant, His blood

Support me in the whelming flood

When all around my soul gives way

He then is all my hope and stay

On Christ the solid rock I stand

All other ground is sinking sand

All other ground is sinking sand

Let's just revisit and visualise it

Just think about what that is gonna look like

When we hear that trunpet sound

When He shall come

When He shall come with trumpet sound

Oh, may I then in Him be found

Dressed in His righteousness alone

Faultless to stand before the throne

On Christ the solid rock I stand

All other ground is sinking sand

All other ground is sinking sand

Jesus Was Asleep as the Storm Raged - you have accepted Him as Your Savior. Now, in a stormy part of your life when the waves of despairing doubt are crashing in and you need Him the most, does He seem to be asleep? All Christians have felt that way at one time or another. No matter how our boat is tossed, God will be there. No matter what we go through our Lord is right there beside us. We can call on Him - it is during those seemingly silent times that we can learn so much

Jesus Never Loses Sight of Us - the Lord is near - with His presence comes peace. He’s not running from us in our fears. He’s climbing in to be right there with us. And with His presence comes peace. The same God who willingly revealed Himself to people in the Bible wants to reveal the fullness of His peace and the power of His presence to us as well. In the midst of whatever hurts and heartbreaks you’re facing today, I pray you will see Him. The Lord is near. We are safe. We are loved. We are seen

The Storms of Life - all of us will go through various storms. Some can be turbulent and might cause us to quake and tremble. We can call on God in any situation and trust Him to take care of us, even in the midst of violent storms. With this personal relationship, we know that He “is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble.” We can “take refuge in Him.” When you experience the storms of life, don’t give in to fear or panic. Call on God. Rest in Him
